Manufacturer Information

The A340-600 is the largest-capacity member of Airbus’ A340 Family, with an overall length of 75.36 metres and accommodations for 320 to 370 passengers (or 475 in high-density seating). The aircraft – which can be used effectively in commercial, corporate or government operations – includes state-of-the-art technologies such as weight-saving composite structures and a fuel-saving aerodynamic design, along with pilot-friendly cockpits, flight controls and systems.

History of the reg

Our A340-600 was produced in Toulouse, France, in 2005. Initially registered by Qatar Airways (Qatar) in November 2006, this aircraft served a long life with a single airline.

It was withdrawn from use in April 2019, then stored at Doha International Airport (DIA, Qatar) in May 2019. The aircraft was finally transferred to Cotswold Airport, formally known as RAF Kemble (UK), under the reg 2-AGCC.

Our History with the Aircraft

This aircraft sees continued use in the bar as one of our VIP pods, offering a sheltered premium experience inside the very fuselage of an aircraft.

The final livery of the aircraft is maintained on the outer surface of the two fuselage sections used in the pod.
